Violence is much like a ripple in the ocean, trying to be a wave.
To create true and powerful movement, consider the energies we are capable of sensing. Visually, do we surround ourselves with a colorful and engaging environment? Or does the world appear grey and motionless (not knocking the color grey but let's take a look at some ideas on color here)? Audibly, what do we hear? The sound of the winds bustling against the leaves or a traffic jam after a long day? Scently, what perfumes our environment? A bushel of flowers or the inhalation of a viscural stench? Tastly, how do the subtle flavors of our food satisfy our hungers? Do we taste and savor each ingredient or do we fill ourselves with preservatives and additives? Touchly, what are we bumping into exactly? Do we feel the embrace of a loving soul or the gravity of lonileness from the physical world?
I would define the word 'emotion' as awareness (or consciousness) manifesting itself within our physical beings. It is in this space we find what control we can by how we guide our thoughts. There are forces pushing and pulling us all the time and for this reason does our will power emerge. The power to resist such forces that harm us while letting go of such forces that bring us bliss....
